Updates to deno.land/x — The official third party code hosting system provided by the Deno project has seen a number of improvements including immutable downloads for tagged releases and publishing a module no longer involves editing a JSON file.

Segno 1.0: A Validation Library for Deno — Check if certain types of data match the right specifications. For example, is a supplied IP address really an IP address? Also covers email addresses, MAC addresses, country codes, numbers, and more. GitHub repo.

Using Node Modules in Deno — Ada calls this ‘a bad practice’ but notes that ‘sometimes there is no alternative’ especially considering how huge the npm ecosystem is compared to Deno’s nascent one.

make-deno-edition: Automatically Makes package.json Projects Compatible with Deno — A CLI tool that takes your source edition (whichever directory contains your package’s TypeScript source files) and creates a compatible ‘deno edition’ in a deno-edition directory.
